Ossie Langfelder Mayor Campaign Sign

Campaign Sign for Ossie Langfelder (D) for Mayor of Springfield, Illinois. Mr. Langfelder served two terms as Mayor from 1987-1995. It is unknown whether this sign was used for the initial campaign in 1986 or the re-election campaign of 1990 or perhaps both. A small, nearly indecipherable stamp is in the lower right hand corner. The only thing legible is "Local 90," which could represent the year or, more probable, the Local #90 Painter's Union in Springfield, who created the sign for the Langfelder campaign.
